Cafe Sofi is a restaurant inspired by our mother, Sophia Electra. She was a woman of beautiful contradictions, a conservative soul wrapped in eccentric packaging. She lived like her recipes, eclectic, irreverent, inexplicably perfect. She lived as if ordinary life required constant translation, English to Greek, conventional to magical, mundane to memorable. Her wanderlust was geographic and temporal: Cyprus for roots, Africa for dreams, India for radio waves.
