Federica, the driving force behind Tashas Group's marketing, has a relentless dedication to transforming innovative and creative ideas into reality. As the Head of Marketing, she has spearheaded a new era of marketing excellence at Tashas Group. In her short time with the group, she has also built an incredible department, where one didn’t previously exist, with a wide range of skills and personalities that will allow the group to set even higher standards now and into the future. 

Her work ethos is deeply rooted in her family's entrepreneurial heritage. Her values of resilience, passion, and boundless optimism are her guiding stars, steering her toward excellence in every endeavour. Inspired by people and their diverse worldviews, she finds great joy in working alongside others to achieve remarkable results.

With over 9 years of experience in marketing and 6 specifically in the F&B industry, including pioneering a novel eatery concept in Italy with three thriving stores, Federica has demonstrated her exceptional marketing acumen. She has also lent her expertise to international giants such as the Financial Times and Amazon, where she led the Advertising Marketing teams.

Her educational background is equally impressive, with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Management for Arts & Culture from Bocconi University and a Master's degree in Marketing Communications from the globally renowned University of Birmingham. In her quest for knowledge, she also completed the Disruptive Strategy course at Harvard Business School in 2020.

Beyond her professional achievements, Federica is a multifaceted individual with a passion for painting. Her love for sailing, stemming from her childhood in Naples, is an abiding passion, one that led her to participate in sailing regattas and even claim some coveted trophies.

Tessa’s experience spans three continents and sectors as diverse as food, fashion, the environment, technology and sport. The common factor is that her work focusses on strategically developing businesses and individuals by starting with what she believes should be the most critical, influencing factor – the BRAND.

With a background in brand development across multiple platforms including television, publishing, licensing, sponsorship, speaking, franchising, digital, social and traditional media to name a few, she understands how these business models can be used to both communicate and leverage brands - at the same time as maintaining the integrity of what they stand for.

Tessa was born and raised in Canada. She has lived in both the UK and the US for extended periods and now calls South Africa home.
