Savva joined his sister Natasha 2 years after the launch of the tashas brand and has never looked back. Like Natasha, he was inducted into the industry by default, having grown up in his father’s restaurants from a young age with a front row seat to all the lessons that the business has in store. This is a privilege which he believes has fuelled the brand’s success.

Savva has been instrumental in building and opening every store for the group. Trained as an interior designer, Savva has a sharp eye for detail and an appreciation for the design side of the business.

As Operations Director he oversees all operations globally to ensure our high standards are maintained in every one of our locations. As Development Director he works on all new projects, site selection, openings and renovations across all of our locations in South Africa, the Middle East, Europe and other regions as we expand.

His is a face you’ll likely have seen in one of the cafes before, always wearing a genuine smile – it’s the family way.

The people that he works with - his “extended family” – are a source of constant inspiration and gratitude to Savva. He’s also motivated by the love of his family and children and his passion for his work.

Striving for balance in life, he’s a believer in remaining humble, authentic, positive and remembering to live life in the present.
