It’s the people that form an integral part of the success of our business here at tashas. And Tanith has had a huge hand to play in moulding and guiding those people to realise their full potential.
As our Operations Executive, she’s at the coal face of what drives the brand forward, our team.
“It’s important that all our staff and people love and care about the brand and its customers, and it’s the essence of what I do daily,” she says. For her, the challenge of teaching the tashas way and doing so by instilling pride and care into our staff members is the ultimate task and reward.
We’re fortunate in that Tanith came straight to join our family after her studies in Hospitality Management at the University of Pretoria. “I am very grateful that I was given the opportunity to start my career off in a successful and well-known brand that challenges me daily,” she says.
Tanith appreciates the opportunities tashas has given her to see the world, learn about new cultures and work alongside people from all walks of life.
She’s an advocate for tea as a balm to most any predicament and lists animals, travel, romantic comedies, hiking, the African bush and exercise as a few of the things that make her happy. On family and friends, she says they inspire her to achieve and do better. “I always go the extra mile to make people feel loved and at home in my presence.”
